Just thought it wouldn't make that bad a topic, I'm getting glasses in about 3 days for blackboard, T.V etc. and just wondering if anyone else wears them.
A year ago I went to the optician and he said I'd need glasses in 6 months, managed to squeeze a year out of my eyes.
I can also see perfectly after about 10 minutes of not wearing glasses (I know this because everyone wants to wear my glasses to make them look intellegent...)

I'd say that's pretty low. Perfect vision is 20-20. I reckon mine is low too, but what can you do? My glasses don't seem to be helping me.

Same here, although I spose I should really wear them around town too.
Would love to wear contacts but could not get used to putting them in, and then throwing a tantrum after 5 mins of trying...I'm currently taking the more extreme route of saving for lazer eye surgery!

Yep, but my eyes look much better and wider. They narrow when I wear glasses. Plus it's better than breaking my glasses in Taekwondo!
Otherwise, I wear gas permeable hard contact lenses for sharper vision, because of my astigmatism. I've been thinking about getting that lasik surgery done.

Incidently isn't it more expensive in the long run to have contacts?
