Goldeneye 2.

One - Nil to the er-no man.

Lets hope it's Two - Nil, come E3, with Ninty and M$ teaming up.

I can dream, can't I?

I really hope that, if this is poor, it won't taint the greatness of the original as so many lacklustre sequels do these days.

And in the meantime, screwing up a classic

EA are really looking to obscure places for cash-ins aren't they?

Free Radical aren't working on this and it's not exclusive to Nintendo, so it looks like it may just be another disappointing Bond game.

Muh, this sounds worse than expected really.

It could just be another 'Goldeneye' game, based on the film, rather than bearing any real relation to the classic title. EA suck in compariosn to Rare of the Goldeneye-period.

And it being on PS2/Xbox (is it?) would suck as well, because it would. Wouldn't feel right and PS2 fanboys would see the name and then screech about it incessantly.

*holds head in hands*

Great news, but really...EA developing it?

I'm sure it'll be decent enough, but it'll never be the same as if Free Radical or Rare were remaking it.

Plus, now it's gonna be multiformat, meaning it'll probably be made for the PS2 and ported over to the GC (and the Xbox)

*sigh*

Aren't Nintendo letting them use the Goldeneye licence and game engine?

So what, it's based on the same movie.. but unless they copy stuff straight out the original, it's never going to be as good.

And M$ and Ninty? Never. M$ have already tried.
