Just found out that in Japan the release of the new Metal Gear Solid game, Twin Snakes, will include another disc which features the NES original MGS game.

Wonder if we will get this also? Anyone else heard about this?

That's what they said about the Zelda disc.

Ooh lets all get pedantic. They added a the "Solid" bit to the title, thats about as original as a Playstation game can get.

Hmm, yeah, and changed it to 3D - in fact, if you've ever played Metal Gear, you'll know it changed pretty drastically.

They turned it 3D but if you have played previous Metal Gear games you will know all the ideas have been ripped. The codec, locations, characters. Although the original NES versions don't focus as much on stealth due to graphical limitations there really wasn't anything original about Metal Gear Solid. Yes the game rocks a lot and is great to play but its nothing we hadn't seen before in previous incarnations.

I'm sorry, are you saying that you BOUGHT Myst 3?
You spent MONEY on an intereactive screensaver?
Have you ACTUALLY lost your mind?

Well I would disagree since with the exception of boss battles it's pretty much ALL about stealth since it went 'solid'.

Haven't seen many 360 degree panaramic screensaves in my time, that combine lush visuals with real-life video.

No, rather that occasionally I like to exercise my mind, rather than playing simple brain dead games, that require little more thought than "Press A to open door".

:P
