I can't get enough of the PS2 and have just been checking out the new PSW DVD with devil may cry,code veronica,jak and daxter,thunder strike,rez (new from sega),twisted metal black etc and I admit I've had a few doubts about the PS2 but it's finally sorted itself out and I really think it'll even do better than the original playstation.
The old anti analising "issue" is a thing of the past really and you won't see any of the rubbish seen in ridge racer 5 and old launch titles and the sound is immense.
There's rumors around the net saying resident evil zero will eventually see the PS2 with extras but Not for a LONG time. Capcom have given Nintendo an exclusive title but Capcom Europe let it slip that it won't be forever but it wll hold as an exclusive for a couple of years at least.
I'm getting a gamecube specifically for rezero but I still think all 3 of the consoles will do well but the xbox has a hill to climb i'll give you that.
Looking at the new PS2 games coming out, most by the end of the year Silent Hill 2,Alone in the dark 4,SSX tricky (yes it's on GC but PS2 get it very soon) Agent Under fire, ape escape 2001,cool borders,Metal Gear Solid2, Crash, Devil May cry, Getaway, GTA3, Half Life, Medal of honour, Wipeout fusion, herdy gerdy, simpsons road rage, tekken 4, tenchu 3,twisted metal, Worms (IN FULL 3D haha)
I'm sure the Gamecube will have some great games from Nintendo which won't go off to anther console (damn you capcom you do mess res fans around with your saturn bonus modes and import extras) but The PS2 is really something great and will definatly be my most played on.
