Well I got rid of WMP and got RealJukebox... same bloody problem... so I have came to the conclusion it must be crappy Windows 98 or my CD drive.

You don't know how frustrating this is for me :D. Well I have an WindowsME disk but I am wary to use it and I am asking for advice.

It is one of those things that loads all of the factory settings onto your computer (brother's). So should I just have all his settings on my PC as it will be an upgrade and I was think of defragging anyway.

Although he has different specs to me, would it work or not?

Turns out it is my CD Drive is completly *cough* so I am going back in a fit of rage as it broke last month and they said it was " fixed " grrrrrrrrrrr

Get Win 2000, it's ace.

Do you have a small cable going to your sound card from your CD-Rom.

So how do I find out if it is Analogue or Digital input whatever?
