"Design Compo?"

Why not have a web design compo for the budding coders of the future? You could give them a canvas to work on and see what they come up with. It could be judged by things like browser compatability, ease of use, loading time, etc. You could even whittle entrants down and post their URLs for us to choose who the winner is. Well, what do you think?

.... Oh Well, nice idea whoever started this.

The only reason that SR won't give us our compo is because there's nothing in it for them. They've had banner ad compos and slogan compos before, but when it comes to us wanting a 'proper' competition - no chance. Come on Tony, I dare you to give us this compo.

Ditto, but it would still require some intervention on SR's part to get recognition from anyone but the 10 other entrants..

I'd do it for the recognition.
