Heheheh!
I should perhaps have clarified that a fanboy will also try and tell people why their opinions are wrong... like for instance saying it's wrong to like silent scope enough to buy an X-box for the gun.
Them and the "untouchable" Konami.

Spoil sport! ;D

To be honest I don't really care. You keep on replying and it's just too easy to take the mick out of you so me an Ali seem unable to resist replying also.
But do keep taking this seriously, even after all that's been said, it's all the more amusing.

There's a difference between being a fanboy and having an opinion. If someone thinks that margarine rocks and butter doesn't, they have a right to say so, that quote of yours is just taken to the extreme because I doubt you'll find any comments similar to that.
If I was a fanboy I'd love everything Nintendo do, every game they release and never touch another console as long I live. The fact is, I, and many other people on this forum, have all three and enjoy playing them. People on this forum also see that Nintendo make mistakes and aren't untouchable (while people may not have said it near its release, Mario Sunshine isn't all that, and the same goes for Zelda, two of Nintendo's most popular franchises). Surely if we were all fanboys we wouldn't be bale to admit such things?
Some people think the Cube has the best line-up, in fact, most people on this forum do, that's why they post here, even though they own multiple consoles. It's not a case of fanboyism saying that the PS2's line-up isn't strong, it's a matter of opinion. Despite a few flaws in Nitnendo'spremier series', they have the best games out and the better pick of exclusives in the coming months and already in their library of games. That's my opinion, of course there have been a few ignorant posts in this thread, but most of it has been opinion.
Lighten up, this is turned into one big hissy-fit instead of a proper conversation/argument. No one can 'win', become no one's right.

Generally I'd have to be a fan of just one thing (Say Xbox/GC) to be a fanboy, at least that's my understanding of the term.
I'm not a fan of just one thing, however I do have strong opinions about the PS2 hardware. This hardly makes me a fanboy. If I was putting one thing above everything else I'd be a fanboy, I am not.

Oh wow, that is a true example of irony! I tell people I don't like cornflakes, but secretly I do! Can I start calling myself an amusing comedian as well?

"not the games"
I said the games we're sh**e, I don't believe they are, I believe the console is dire, however, I was talking about the games and it is the games we were "arguing" about.
The irony stands pal.
