"The Next GTA *Question*"

It looks to me that the next GTA is gonna be set in a kinda cowboy-west indian scene, im probably wrong but the font of the heading "St Andreas" looks very cowboyish, does anyone have any info on where its set.And should i preorder it?

Just because he ordered a game that's 8 months from release doesn't mean he's a fool. There are quite a few folk on here that have had Halo 2 pre-ordered for ages, and I've had Driv3r pre-ordered for about 7 months.

I'm actually lookin forward to hearing what kind of music they'll throw in the game, I just hope they have a good variety of music and not just a bunch of crap like some of the past GTA's (ahem, love fist songs, gimme a break)

GTA "more thugish"

How can it get more thugish? If running around with a Mac 10 shooting everything in site isn't thugish enough, then there's something wrong with this planet.

I know what you meant though, and to be honest I don't give a rats where the game is set, so long as the game's good. Although I would say putting 50 cent on the soundtrack is a step in the wrong direction.

They should stay away from a licensed soundtrack, it worked well in Vice City but that's only because those older songs were actually good. Most modern music isn't as good, and besides, I thought they did a good job in GTA3 with their made up soundtrack. It added a touch of originality and didn't feel as though the music was just there so that artists could cash in on the success of the game.

Anyhoo, I'm babbling on about crap now, so I'll just shut up.

The font looks more thugish / rapper to me.

And I've just been proved righ because a thugish rapper is on the soundtrack.

Yes, yes there was. If you look at the maps you got with the original GTA you'll also see an Island called Liberty City, and another called San Andreas.
