"N64 isn't quite dead"

Did I hear someone say the N64 is dead? Smack, Bam, Wallop, crash. I hope that knocked some sense into you. The N64 isn’t quite dead because despite the ever shrinking release list and the lack of N64 games on shop shelves the N64 does what every console does when it is about to bite the bullet, drop in price.

I won’t say where but I picked up Pokémon Snap (did I hear a giggle) for £9.99! That’s even cheaper than Special Reserve’s amazing price. Also Diddy Kong Racing I found that for £6.99 again that’s stupid and these are high street prices! I saw Conker’s Bad Fur Day for a mere £34.99 and for a game that only came out a few months ago and retailed at £60 this is a big achievement.

So do you Nintendo fans have every game you ever wanted to get? There is many a game I wish I had such as Smash Brothers, Mario Golf, Mario Party, Rocket: Robots on wheels, Pilot wings, Rogue squadron, Pokémon Stadium 2, Blast Corps, Excite bike and many, many more.

Why I never go these games?

At the time I never had the money and by the time I did the next title came around and I got that instead. Now with only 2 not yet released titles that I really want (Tony Hawks 2 and Paper Mario and if Sin and Punishment gets a UK release that as well) I might as well keep my N64 alive by buying these classics.

The N64 created many classics in its years and now it relies on these classics to get through it’s last. So whilst you consider getting that Dreamcast or Playstation 2 in order to wait for the Gamecube I ask why? To a Nintendo fan the N64 is better than both of those consoles and as far as I’m concerned unless you are a millionaire you wouldn’t of got ever last N64 smash hit and, well it’s about time you snapped them up.

Ah, SR have a tendency to place games that are not yet released onto their database, for pre-orders you see. I mean, Mario Kart Advance has not been released yet, and neither has DInosaur Planet on the N64 ( remove it Tony, it's coming out on the GC!). Pokemon Stadium GS is out in Autumn 2001.

Pokemon stadium 3 is Gold and silver in Japan.

G/S is out it has been out for a few months. Look at the SR database.

Not if you go into second hand stores I can still buy wonder boy games for 50p!

Nahh the N64 is preety much dead, u soon wont be able to find games for it in GAME etc.

It will never be dead! The SNES is still going isn't it, the NES the Jaguar Atari! Ok maybe not the Atari but I still play on one!

I got my N64 back yesterday. Wooohoo! I haven't played an N64 (or any console for that matter) in weeks but in my first attempt at Wetrix in months, I got 12 million points. My best ever is 17 million points but what makes me really quite annoyed is the way I lost. On about 10 million points, I thought, "How do you use those smart bomb things?" It came to me a couple of thousand points later that you have to press 'Z'. Now, I got a bit worried at this point because I had my finger on the 'Z' button. I didn't want to move it in case I pressed it so I just left it there hoping I wouldn't accidently press it. What happened? I pressed it on 12 million points. How annoying.

It happened again this morning as well, although I was only on 2 million points so it was okay.

Hey Mario Party 1,2,3 is what Sony fans are used to :)

Erm Paper Mario comes out in september.
