Now i know this may sound dumb but i want ut2004 and the dvd version is cheaper but im not sure what the difference is if anyy.Is it just the fact that i need a dvd rom drive(player) in my computer or is there a difference in the content of the game.Please use your pc knowledge and help a noob out.

£50!! I'm inporting the Special Edition from America for just a little over £30, only about a tenner over what I was paying for the one disc DVD version.

Although it has to be said, prices do seem to be going up for the SE now, I'm thankful I got mine when I did.

TV is generally no more interesting than sitting there swapping discs and I've never tried to swap discs while both holding and reading a book but I suspect it isn't as easy as people would have you believe.


I was meaning there was that ontop of however long it takes to copy 6 CDs worth of data onto a hard disk.

Nice but at £32 more than what I am paying for the normal DVD its a bit much. Considering its a headset and a DVD video. DVD video would be nice as it will show you how to create maps etc. Will be available on the net anyways.

Yes it is, but if you own the DVD version and have a proper key. If you own the orginal games I think you can make a copy or get a copy. It is illegal to have a copy and not have the orginal or sell/give the copies you make from your orginal.
