I am trying to connect my network adapter to the Internet but it's not working.

I have an AOL/BT modem box with no free ports, I have the PS2 network adapter and have AOL 8.0 Broadband.

I would appreciate any help, in setting up my PS2.

Er, 4 lights? Erm... how new is the PC? To be honest I'm at a loss and suggest ringing Sony's Customer Support after you check AOL supports it.

I don't know about this AOL Broadband not being compatible though.

I used ICS with Xbox Live at one time and it was a swine to set up.

If you mean what do they look like on the back of your pc then look for something with a couple of led lights by it. If your PC is not very new it probably has no preinstalled card.

However you will only have a network card if;

a) you have bought and installed one
b) your PC came with one installed

Not all PC's have them preinstalled but they're dirt cheap.

That would be at the back of your PC, near the USB ports usually.

On my Win 2000 PC, I go to the properties of the broadband icon, and check the box that says "share this connection". Nothing else required.

To use ICS you need a CAT5 crossover cable and a free network card in the PC.
