Finally! apparently train station and Prison shackled times are coming very soon as well.
Sure, I would have liked more downloadable content than there has been to date. But there has been some, something that wouldn't have happened on the PS2 or GC.
As for not having a hard drive in the Xbox 2, there is more to this than meets the eye. Microsoft know it was a big selling point not needing memory cards. But hard drives are expensive, flash memory is cheap. MS commissioned a company to make a type of flash memory for it. Most people seem to think that would be a removable memory card, I tend to think more like the Saturn, with built in memory.
Not only that, but there have recently been rumours that the Xbox 2 would feature Blu Ray, the successor to DVD. It has a capacity approaching 50 Gb and can be rewritten to.
The Live feature is purely another way to play, and while, like Nintendo and their Stars catalogue, Ubi Soft shouldn't make promises they can't successfully keep, it's not as though they really owe us anything. It is free, after all.
You do understand how placing so much emphasis on LIVE which is the only major drawing point to the Xbox that the companies who design games aimed towards LIVE play should actually suppoer the download content in a big way, after all it was their PR staff sperming all over the wall about downloadable content and how there would be 5 new maps before Christmas of last year, they even said 2 new game modes after they sneakily with drew a description from their website on the American release of Rainbow Six 3.
Its half the reason why I sold it. Rainbow Six 3 would have been enough to persuade me to keep it if it wasn't for a sheer lack of anything else interesting on LIVE and the fact that the maps were practically printed out in my head to the point that playing the game made me wish I had never bought it in the first place.
They do need to get their act together because they will lose people over it. After confirming that there won't be a Hard Drive in the Xbox 2 last week after all the rumours I think Microsoft need all the support they can get because it was a massive draw to the Xbox for many reasons.
LIVE and download content has been a complete flop in my opinion, a waste of a service with so much potential.
> I wish Ubi would get their bloody act together!
Surely they don't have to give you free downloads?
They could just as easily be designing new games.

Amped 2 is actually a pants game on Live, however the single player is great.
Crimson skies is good though, not sure if it'll keep you entertained for long though, still good though.
