I still play this game. And I have a few questions:

1) Can the Mad Piano in Big Boo's Haunt be killed?
2) What's this "Secret Room" at the top of the Castle?
3) Can you beat the Penguin's Race after getting all 120 Stars?
4) What's with that inscription on the fountain?

If anyone needs help with the game, just ask - I have all 120 Stars. Not that anyone WON'T have them all by now...

I got it about 2 years after the launch (when I first got the N64) but I chose it over Banjo Kazooie, rather than get them both together.

Maybe the reason I prefer Sunshine is because I never got 64 on launch...

Agreed. Not sure how long it took me to get all 120 stars, but the game was so good it didn't matter.
I still fondly remember gaining access to the cannon in the castle courtyard, then flying about the area and meeting Yoshi on the roof.

I can still remember so clearly the day I got the game along with my N64, Pilotwings and Shadows of the Empire. I ran home from the shop with it and my jaw dropped when I turned on the console. I played about with Mario's face for a bit, then went on to play the game. The rest is history and a very happy gaming memory.

Never bothered to finish it... I prefered Banjo Kazooie at the time.

It took me about 3 months to complete it properly (all stars), although I was a bit more restricted in my game playing time back in those days. :-)
