Couldn't they just get the recordings from the PS version? Surely they must have kept hold of them.

I agree that Ninja's and Vulcan Raven's scenes weren't as spooky as before, but then again, none of the scenes had the same dramatic effect as the first game.

Some of the added kung-fu-ness was sweet though :)

The weird thing is, it's mostly the same actors. Maybe they just fancied a change, or didn't want to do the exact same thing over again?

Agreed.
The voice acting as a whole is far inferior this time 'round.
Naomi seems uninterested when she tells you about anything(even the emotional scenes).
You can hardly hear the Ninja during the battle.
Liquid Snake is respectable, but not quite as arrogant as beofre, which was really his quality.
Snake is grizzly and great, as usual.
Sniper Wolf is poor, as is Mei ling.

Apart from that, the game is stunning.
Although, I would prefer Yoshi to say:"Rih-ur" when you shoot him. Bah!

Graphically obviously not, but they weren't far off - just remove all the mad kung-fu and bullet time and you're close (obviously since MGS was before the Matrix, haha!)

I preferred the Ninja in the corridor sequence first time - more spooky. So were Vulcan Raven's scenes.

Actually, using the thermal goggles to defeat ninja when he goes invisible was blantantly obvious.

They've moved all the rankings! I was 7th fastest in normal mode without special items on the Japanese version, sniff...

Good news is now I'm top of the European table!
