Almighty Beer Can just buy the one that says The Sims on it nothing els.
Then the other's will say Expantion Pack on them.

can anyone help?
i have the sims on ps2 but i am planning to buy some for pc.Which one do i need to get started? because i am confused with some of them being expansion packs.

Well, hopefully you can. All the expansions are a horrific waste of money added to the £30 or so to buy the game in the first place...

How I wished that read "Wow! The Sims 2 has been pushed back again...to Hell, from whence it came" That way I can avoid having to install the damn thing when my sister buys it.

Hopefully I can use this delay to try and convince her it's not worth the money, I got her to give up on the original Sims by getting her to play good games like battlefield 1942, perhaps I can the same again.
