This is where I talk (to myself) about the new F1 season. The ultra long, ultra boring preview of the season written by my good self will be up around a week or 2 before the new season starts.

New season, new cars. Launches and pictures below:

Hah. I always wait for your F1 posts with anticipation each year as it feels like the start of the season then!

Also see that Mercedes, Force India and Torro Rosso have now launched their cars. Busy week for F1 teams then.

Yep, McLaren launched their car.

Early questions about the Ferrari though. There is talk of a B-Spec car arriving later in the year, which is terrible news if true.

Much as I think Alonso can act like a tool at times, wouldn't be good for the sport if his new shiny red toy turns out to be a bit of dog.

Must resurrect the MotoGP thread at some point, forgot all about it.

New BMW Sauber released. Not a lot of pictures so far but looks a little different at the back end.

The Renault has been launched too. Still got the fat nose of last season.

Mercedes, Williams and Toro Rosso all have launched their cars. I'll get the Toro Rosso pics up there in a bit.

Toro Rosso have had to build their own car this season and not just base their designs on the Red Bull.

Testing has also begun.

Anyone want to have a guess at how many teams will have had their cars inspected and get in trouble for adding bits they shouldn't have?!

Hopefully less of an issue than last year though, things are levelling out a bit on the specs front I think.

Yeah, I don't think we'll see the whole diffuser mess or anything like that this season, although it is still early. :)
