Does anyone have a copy of Star Ocean2 or Suikoden 1-3 there willing to sell for the ps1? The best I can get them for is £70 for Star Ocean2 and suikoden costs £180 please I really have old cravings for them also anyone have any of the breath of fires for ps1 or Alundra 1 or 2?

It'll wreck the lovely aqua design though ;(

Messiah 2 is the one i got in mine and everything i've had has played on it. So that's about 110 games with no problems

If you only going to be playing Suikoden 3 then the flip top lid is the best as then you won't have to risk taking your PS2 to pieces and soldering the chip in

The safer alternative is the flip top lid design with boot disc; as I won't be getting many imports (just Suikoden 3 in fact) would you say it's a better option?

Yup, i've bought many legal copies of import games and they all play fine, no problems at all. Long as you get a decent chip installed, then you're fine.

Hmm, chipped PS2s. Can you still play future genuine games on it?

Don't feel bad, the Suikoden buying bug has got to us all :-D

And I always said I could manage my money better than my sibling... how wrong was I :S

Know how you feel, i've spent alot of money too the last week or so, i might have to put the padlock back on my wallet before i spend again.

Now I understand the real reason why students get into debt...
