Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh!

That was my logic in trying it.
btw: The idea is similar, but the game is nothing at all like Mech Warrior.
Shops should get them in so we can try it out first.
Or Edgy could post his up here and let me have a go ;D
"Stoopid n00b, I demanded formation and flash-bang attack. You simply looked around the level and kept swapping weapons, jump/crouching your way around and spray painting logos on other players"
Its not bad for one player, but its annoying to set up all the time just to play for a little while. As for the new Live game, I can see that being more annoying than fun. Cause what you have to remember is that probably around 95% of people that have bought this will be like those pasty basement dwelling virgins who live and breathe the game and think Star Trek is a way of life. Thats what put me off trying the Live version. Can't be bothered having to stick to perfect military tactics and getting whined at because I wasn't in sector 6 within 3 minutes. I'm just gonna wait for Mech Assault 2 I think. Shame cause I've always been a big fan of mechs and stuff - always enjoyed the games over various systems. But this is just gonna be too annoying to set up all the time just to end up getting pasted by nerds who have read the stereo instruction manual so many times that they could take a mech apart and then put it back together again from its basic screws.
That's a silly price for Mechwarrior + steering wheel
I've not heard a great deal of rublings from it. I can just imagine, placing the order, waiting for it to be delivered, the anticipation of a cool game, the intro, starting the game, and, and, and..

It's just not that great, ok, but not great
I won't pay that for a bloody game, no matter how beefy the controller.
