Got this today, 'tis brilliant.

So far I've got a big-faced dog called... Bigface, a cow called Rainbow, loads of milk and some 'cultivated land' watered.

I haven't played ti for long, about 15 minutes, but it really is amazing.

Get it.

Too much hassle.
Rargh! Spend all my money on a decent cow, and get nothing back for a year and a half - then have to do it again. Muh.

GRRRRR! I caught Murrey in my Food Storage Cupboard nicking a tomato!
Made him give it back of course.

What is the point of Murrey?

I am mildly ashamed that the pulls Ninja Gaiden and Rainbow Six 3 mean that I now only rarely get to play Harvest Moon. Great title all the same though.

You get a new cow, you have to wait until she's old enough (a whole damn year) then buy the miricle potion, set that to work (another month) and she'll give birth. *Then* she start giving milk. Lots of hassle.

The kid is there for you to shape his intrests. The stuff you can buy for him from Van and put in his toybox will decide his career choices.

Apart from that.. you can't do much else with the little booger but chuck him into the air.

And someone explain what I'm supposed to do with this kid.
It's quite funny taking him right down to Cody's caravan then letting him run home again - although I doubt that's what he's for.

Someone help me out here:
I thought that if you bought a new cow she'll give you milk right away - but she's not. Do you have to get it pregnant, or will she start after a while?

And if I try to milk her, she gets a question mark over her head - doesn't get angry like my pregnant cow does.

You get that at any point if you keep giving him stuff he likes. Fish are good too. Much, much better than buying it yourself.

There's about five of these "cut-scenes" but after Winter Year 1 you don't see anymore. Give your dog plenty to eat and he keeps him and Murray off your farm.

Yeah, you just become friends with Daryl - I gave him coins from the dig site. Then went to his house one evening and he rambled on about people stealing his ideas then gave me the seed maker for free!
This was mid-winter, 1st year

And now he keeps trying to catch Mukumuku (sp?) and his eyes go all scary. The other day he was creeping around my farm trying to steal a cow, and just now I caught him looking through my window at baby Vyse.
Dirty man.
