I'll start it off by voting for Tommy Vercetti from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

definitley has to be vincent from ff 7, for one reason only, i don't know if any of you have ever read the gunslinger series by stephen king, but i love those books, and that is who Vincent rewminds me of, Roland the last gunslinger, except for the fact that roland never transformed into any terrifying monster, but coming from stephen king, that would not surprise me.

Dante from devil may cry 1 & 2, having the ability to transform into devil forms is enough for me. i could fly run fast, and have electric come from the fingers. even without the powers he has cool swords and guns. yes he's most definaly the one for me.

my favourite ps2 caracter is bart from sinpson hit and run because he can drive a car and he says cool phrases and a bit rude.He gets wicked cars and cool outfits he has skill friends and he is on a awsome level and i really want him to be reall.

Solid Snake, he was only playable in the Tanker chapter but still, he's the main character in the whole game, after all it's called Metal Gear Solid

That's just to signify that the terrorist weapon was solid form, not liquid based as was originally inferred. More of a hard copy - a destructive weapon, rather than a passive one (e.g. computer virus).

No, I don't know where did you get that theory from, but it's wrong, besides the second metal gear game was called: Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, also Metal Gear Solid was written like that:
METAL GEAR
SOLID
Which means that metal gear is a separate thing from Solid.
