The 20,000 point GamerScore Challenge. Many websites like to follow the progress of gamers and the most common way of doing so is by monitoring the number of GamerScore (GS) points (gained by unlocking achievements) a player has.
I put this challenge to you. My individual goal (HM) is to increase my GS by 20,000 points by September 1st 2010. As this seemed a popular idea, many freeola users have jumped in with their own personal challenges.
If you are interested in joining the challenge, just post your target score and how many points you are away (or just a target amount), along with your Gamertag and I'll put you on the board below.
Keep posting updates when you unlock achievements. The best way (and most manageable) would be to post the game title and the number of points achieved from the start date of your target. For instance: if I had a Viva Pinata and unlocked 600 points, I would post: "Viva Pinata - 600 points".. Points gained from before the target date do not count.

Just out of interest... what is the best online rental service for games? Im looking to start an account but can't decide between lovefilm and swapgame. Or are there any others worth looking into?
@Emmie: if you want to make sure you get games then create a list for games and a list of films and allocate 1 disc from each... presumming you are allowed more than 1 disc at home at a time. If not then just change what list you want your disc from.

Completed King Kong (actually twice, played it on original and then suffered through it the second time for the 360 version). It was ok for a single playthrough, but any replays are DULL.
Avatar was one I resisted until Game allowed me to take my profile to work one day and play the store copy on the staff console. Also got a lot from Bioncle too!
I can confirm CSI is out in the post, so should get stuck in to another game with a generous GS payout... Shame I have to wait until tomorrow for it.

lol, i do not imagine the game would be very good!
It is in that list i posted, saying its easy to get GS for, and Avatar: Airbender game only has like 4 achievements and can be done in the first 5 mins apparently

I thought there was a glitchy bit where you could get all 1000 points almost immediately? Can't say I ever bothered to check myself but meh...

I would agree with that although you do have to suffer a fairly dull and very repetitive game.

Avatar is also pretty damn easy to get points. Get it because it's actually ok to play too.
