The 20,000 point GamerScore Challenge. Many websites like to follow the progress of gamers and the most common way of doing so is by monitoring the number of GamerScore (GS) points (gained by unlocking achievements) a player has.
I put this challenge to you. My individual goal (HM) is to increase my GS by 20,000 points by September 1st 2010. As this seemed a popular idea, many freeola users have jumped in with their own personal challenges.
If you are interested in joining the challenge, just post your target score and how many points you are away (or just a target amount), along with your Gamertag and I'll put you on the board below.
Keep posting updates when you unlock achievements. The best way (and most manageable) would be to post the game title and the number of points achieved from the start date of your target. For instance: if I had a Viva Pinata and unlocked 600 points, I would post: "Viva Pinata - 600 points".. Points gained from before the target date do not count.

Got a whole 5 achievements totaling 30 points.
Best start reviewing, submitting cheats and walkthroughs then to get the extra games to play!

Hehe i'll join in, but i've never played for gamerscore, and i never complete games. Current gamerscore is 4675. I'll be happy to reach 12,000 in the timeframe ;S
I may add that to the list Chris. Was going to buy it once when I worked at Game and got warded off it by other members of staff. I'll have a look :)

Just got home and ODST is in the xbox right away :) Dont know if I'll be able to get any points out it tonight as I've only got an hour 'til the wifey gets in.
How can I get involved without getting involved?
Okay, same timeframe as everyone else but my aim is to get to 20,000. I'm sitting on 11705 at the moment.
As I'm playing to play the games fully rather than going for points, it could prove an interesting challenge and a good race to those going for points.

Don't get me wrong, Nintey Nine Nights is an great game (especially for the price- i picked it up extremely cheap brand new off amazon). I'm just terrible at it ;P
*EDIT* Jason, I recommend completing it actually. It's a good game where you fight hordes of creatures, and every character you complete the game with, you'll get 200g (5 characters=1000g). Good one to boost the score up abit, and it's also going for chips nowadays.

Yeah and there are loads of secret ones, not sure what they are about. It is a great RPG and one i loved playing, but dont think i would go back and do it again, looking forward to playing some RPG's i got coming from LoveFilm!
EDIT: That said, might rent it and try complete it, but aint played it for so long i imagine i would have forgotten everything and how to play it well lol
