The 20,000 point GamerScore Challenge. Many websites like to follow the progress of gamers and the most common way of doing so is by monitoring the number of GamerScore (GS) points (gained by unlocking achievements) a player has.
I put this challenge to you. My individual goal (HM) is to increase my GS by 20,000 points by September 1st 2010. As this seemed a popular idea, many freeola users have jumped in with their own personal challenges.
If you are interested in joining the challenge, just post your target score and how many points you are away (or just a target amount), along with your Gamertag and I'll put you on the board below.
Keep posting updates when you unlock achievements. The best way (and most manageable) would be to post the game title and the number of points achieved from the start date of your target. For instance: if I had a Viva Pinata and unlocked 600 points, I would post: "Viva Pinata - 600 points".. Points gained from before the target date do not count.

I had a good couple of hours on Midnight Club LA last night and not a single achievement. I'm going to have to get a kids game with an easy 1000 points to actually start making some progress.
I am relying on MAG to get some trophies at the moment, picked up a couple of bronze and a silver one last night so thats ok.
Got Uncharted 2 to trade in at CEX and i will get a new game with that, plus i have something comin from LoveFilm in the middle of next week. As i sent BioShock back before the post last night.

I've been slacking. Tried to go for a 5 point achievement last night on South Park, but it's too difficult to do alone :(
Hopefully some more games on the way soon - plus may fork out for Bioshock 2 tomorrow :)

Played a bit more of the Simpsons Game for 15 points. Should be pretty close to a bigger payout of points as I'm getting near the end of replaying levels and doing the time challenges.
EDIT - A bit of late night gaming gave 65 more points on the Simpsons Game. I've broken 13,000 points now, which I'm pleased about.

Updated my stats but i have sent BioShock back, got a bit bored of it in all honesty, fancied something a bit less intense and fun!!
Finished off some Uncharted 2 trophies, so i am not too far from Level 5 on the old Playstation! I think getting to level 7 may have been a bit of a high ask lol. I will settle with getting to 6 : D

Now that I'm done with Bioshock 2 I can get back onto the 360 and getting some achievements... that is until Heavy Rain arrives.
