X111 - Very nice graphics and good fun to play, great storyline.
Based on first impressions I'd give it 7/10
Space Invaders: Special Edition- I was in a retro mood and when I saw it, I couldn't resist. It has nine modes:
Monochrome mode - classic black and white mode.
Colour mode - identical to Monochrome mode exept it is in colour.
Cellophane mode - cool game in which space invaders are clear and background is multi-coloured.
Upright mode - Very hard mode.
Upright mode 2 - Very hard mode of Space Invaders 2.
VS Mode - You and another person compete to see who can wipe out the aliens first.
Doubles mode - You and another person work toghether to try and wipe out the alien army.
3D Mode - Very cool three-dimesional graphics version of the original game
Space Invaders 2 Colour Mode - Space Invaders 2 in colour.
It's a great game and based on first impressions I'd give it 6/10
I haven't really played the other games much yet, so I'll review them later.

you should do english!

i'm suprised that 5 posts is the biggest talk you've had for years on here. i remember our talk about the driving wheel controller thing. and something a bit more mindless.

Oddly, my calculator would be an interesting method. I never use one, so I've not replaced the calculator I've had since starting my GCSEs. The battery in it has completely gone now, but it has one of those solar panel type things at the top. As a result, it works if I put it in front of bright sunlight. If I wanted to use it, I'd have to wave it in front of the window :) Unless I find one on this computer... I tried to delete most useless stuff, but that may have got left behind.

Ah, fair enough. I think it must have been too subtle, and got overwhelmed by the sarcasm mallet used my Mr Nash. I had no idea that this would lead to the biggest conversation I've had on these forums in years...

Check at the end.
Calculator = boring method :-)

oh the ironing!
i was using an advanced form of sarcasm where it was blatantly obvious to all what your degree was.
:D
i'm on new levels man.
Anyway, a definite note to myself for the future: either use a calculator, or at least check the numbers at the end!

Side splitting.
