Without looking it up on wikipedia or anywhere, can you describe to the best of your ability what schizophrenia actually is?
Don't worry about if you think you're wrong, and please, do check up after you answer the question if you want to, but I'm just interested in public perception of what the illness actually is. And don't just say the same as another person who you think might have the right answer, I want to know what you personally believe.
I hope I get quite a few replies here, thank you if you have a go.
It's almost a certainty. I thought you'd be smart enough to realise that. *Shrugs*
How's the saving coming along? :D

You think?
Personally, I doubt it. But ho-hum, each to their own, horses for courses, etc.
Mr 'I can't defend myself' says:
"She just sounds incredibly bitter. I hid most of what happened from her, and being able to ’turn it on and off at will’ is absolute bull[doody].
I blocked her on MSN a few months back and I imagine she’s still bitter that I don’t want to talk to her anymore. It’s laughable that they’re bitter because I won GAD too."

Keep it up!
"OMG Ladybird don't knock Grix. Grix > You GRIX >>>> YOU!!!!!1111"
I'll get my shearing gear out in a minute. :D
> I do not believe he is schizophrenic
Hey guess what? You're not a mental health professional so no one cares what your 'diagnosis' is.
"I equate a lot of what Grix reports as his condition as an attempt to hide from being entirely responsible for himself. He's really good at it.. romanticises it, as a matter of fact. He's is quite knowledgeable on the topic. Knowledge can be dangerous. I do not believe he is schizophrenic, because it is not something you turn on and off at will. He's full of malarky. And so is whomever gave him a GAD for his drivel."
Wow. You don't sound bitter at all, do you?
I know everything there is to know about muscular dystrophy: when I was diagnosed I read anything and everything I could on the subject so I was informed, knew what I could expect to happen and actually be able to challenge any medical staff if I didn't feel they were helping me -- because Grix did the same doesn't mean he's making it up, hiding from responsibility or "romanticising" it.
> edit: stuck up, uppity snob! you're a disgrace to the GAD
> system.
pfft, regardless of grix, the GAD system hardly ever rewards merit anyway, does it? just effort. So stop pretending it's some violation.
