Anyone else started this again lately? I'm at the save just before Materia Keeper in Nibel Mountains. All my characters are LVL35. Forgot how damn good this game is.

Well the fact i kept returning back to it to actually finish it after 4 memory card crashes, each around 40 hours at least of playtime, shows just what a good game it is to actually make me do that. After Disgaea at 800 hours and FF Tactics at 430 hours this is probably the game i've played the third longest.

It probably is the game after Disgaea and FF Tactics i have played the most (mainly due to memory card keep crashing 4 times around the 40 hour mark), however it's late and i'm all sleepy so a few errors creep in :-)

but it does, cracking the safe will not only get you the odin summon it will also give you the basment key which unlocks the door to get to vincent. so you have to crack the safe. the fight is quite good aswell.

The safe code clues are there to unlock the safe and to get the odin materia, doesn't have anything to do with Vincent. To get Vincent go down into the basement and just keep talking to him until all he says is to go away or words to that effect. Then as you go to leave he'll chase after you and stop you and then join your party
