Now, I dont know about you... but along with violence and sex, I love a bit of high speed car chase shinanigans...

But... Which movie has the best car chase scenes?

Bullett?
The Italian Job? (my personal favourite)
Gone in 60 seconds?
etc...

Which racers got your pulses pumping?

Chip D The Fast And The Furious is a great film. It has got quite a good plot, but its all about the cars. There are Nissan Skylines, Toyota Supras, Honda S2000, Honda Civics and a Mitisbushi Eclipse. They have alot of fast 1/4 mile action and they blow away a rich guy in a F355 with a 640 BHP Supra. The main guy in it has a 900 BHP car in it that has so much power that its fron wheels lift off the ground when he acclerates. This is one of the best films i've seen this year and would recommend it to anyone who loves cars. Its out here in the UK mid September so GO and see it.

Nobody seems to have mentioned that amazing move by "John McLean" in Die Hard 3. For Best Move in a car, I think that would have to get it! Sadly, the rest of that chade was nothing more than average.

For best all round film to date, I would have to go with both Gone In 60 Seconds, and Ronin. Too difficult to decide between the two. Much respect has to go to Nicolas Cage for being able to drive like that, and act so well!! Like som many others though, I have got to get me an "Elanor", that car is awesome!

I saw an MTV Movie Special on "The Fast And The Furious", and it looks like an outstanding film, I shall certainly be seeing that.

It appears NOBODY rates Bullitt's race scenes at all huh?

(these are usual the most ones that everybody seems to rate?)

I'd say Italian Job is my favourite for the amusement factor.

However, Ronin bosts some of the best driving I've ever seen!!! and it's not all chopped up into your average Hollywood sized pieces (like "gone in 60 seconds"- nice film but toooooo much switching shot in the chase scenes)

There is a good film with good kind of car chases and the film is called "The Fast And The Furious" its not out here in England till mid sepetember.

I watched it today and loved the film. It is all about illegal street racing where people burn it down streets as fast as they can. There are quite a few nice races one with a guy in a Ferrari 355 against a orange Supra which is running 640Bhp and is featured in the current issue of Fast Car. I think you can guess who wins. Anyone who loves modified cars should go and see this as its a really good film.

Wasn't the original Blues Brothers film the first to have a really great car chase, you know the one through the shopping centre and out into the car park.

Or am I mistaken?

Not sure, but it won an Oscar for the editing involved in the chase scenes.
