After due consideration here are the results.
Everybody wants User Profiles.
RBS says lean some of the GAD prizes towards lesser forums to boost them and he suggests we include a "what's going on in the forums" or "forum news" somewhere.
Gaming Boy would like to see more input from the staff to start topics and kick-start discussion.
Grix suggests we have a tournament where we all download game to our PC and play against each other.
er-no wants a "who is here" link. You click on it and it tells you the names of most recent posters (good idea). And er-no wants the Notables to be given something to do (a request which I have just complied with in Chat forums)
TheBest_2K1 is keen on putting people in a hot seat. Everybody fires questions at the poor so...
Quazimodo would like links to your "Latest Post" and your web site url in your stats window (excellent).
Meka would like us to hold a song contest and have counters to see how many people have read a thread. pb backs this up with a similar request on reviews.
Cookie Monster suggests a Cluedo-style murder mystery event.
Dan2K1 would like on-line darts.
Dringo is keen to repeat some "Opposite Posts" - I believe this is intended to be head to head challenges on specific arguments.
Chr!stos says we should sometimes vote for Gameaday winners, instead of them being always picked by staff.
Salevunit suggested a Winning Posts Forum (view only), plus Tag of the Day competitions, Search Facilities and Caution Tags. The latter is a particularly strong suggestion, i.e. to give warning tags to people likely to face a ban.
BUT THE WINNER IS:
The prize is for the best SET of suggestions. The winner is SHEEPY for the following ideas:

Round Number Prizes (e.g. at 10,000 posts in a forum)
"Number Day" I think this means we would all be anonymous.
Vote people off the forums Big Brother style (love that).

I think notables should be given something to judge or do...
It was interesting to see when Grix got to choose a winner and have his own extra gameaday competition... I think this should happen once with every notable.
I would love to come up with a competition and judge it. It would bring a lot of life to the forums and I could also easily comment on every entry and so could the other notables with their own competitions.
Grix story competiton raised the level of writing quality in the forums, with newbies reading the stories and then submitting their own!

Several ideas I don't know whether they have been used..
1) A picture to go with your name. People can upload pics and put url into a box then get their own icon under their name (restricted to a certain size). Then the notables icons can go under names as well as other peoples.
2) Info button. Click and a box comes up with MSN/ICQ/AIM/MIRC? details, email addy (of course all this is optional as some people would want privacy). This encourages people to talk outside of forums.
3) A post rating. People can rate posts they find interesting or entertaining and they think are worth a read - sort of recommendations. (It would say at top of post under title) eg. 43 recommendations

I feel a new class should be introduced to add some more falvour to the forums...
I think it should be called a 'pro-regular' and when users post over 1500 posts and 100000 words they get given this title, it would be great and divide up the new regulars and pro-regulars...

THE PHANTOM POSTER
Well in the past people have always being trying to trick one another and going undercover with different names or accounts... such as me when I became MERRY CHRISTMAS and tricked everyone into thinking I was Ant, then I couldn't get SHEEPY back so that was a failure and of course the " WHO IS SNUGGLY" that was amusing. It is difficult these days however to trick as of colours and taglines.
Well heres the deal... you approach someone on the site you ask if they would like to be the PHATOM POSTER that month maybe give them some small gift as their payment. They will have 2 accounts... 1 their orignal name and other PHANTOM POSTER :D. The PHANTOM POSTER could have a different colour and move from forum to forum acting strangly and normal... other posters try to guess the identity and creates fun and excitement on forums like the Snuggly thing... of course the poster would still post with his other account so it is not obvious who it is.
Say each poster has a guess at who it is and must give reasons, maybe hints could be used by the PHANTOM and thats what you base your guess on and maybe at end give a prize to winner or not :D

Make a forum up called Big Brother... throw in say for example all the notables and for one week they are only allowed to post in that forum... and everyone else can read put not post... then each day one person gets voted by notbales then everyone else on site votes to see which one gets thrown out :D

I am not too sure how many posts have been posted but maybe when a rounded number is coming up sa 1000th topic on FOG chat then that person wins a prize. You don't show when that topic is near to 1000th as it would increase spamming so when the person does win they go...
