"PS2 games on GC - bad news!"

I know this has probably been posted on these forums before but I haven't seen it, so here goes: I was just scrolling through a list of intended GC releases when 2 names jumped off and hit me in the face (ouch). These were Metal Gear Solid 2 and SSX Tricky. Is this true? Please don't tell me the only reason I got a PS2 was for GT3! Pllleeeaaassseee!

SSX Tricky is a definite, yeah. I'll look into MGS2 now.

hehehe, I know! You checked the games list anetgamecube? even though half of those are only rumours it still leaves well over 30 games that are confirmed!

I think Konami mentioned the cancelling of MGSX somewhere, but it still seems to be in development...

Oh yes SSX, and MGS2, and are you implimenting that GT3 will be on there too?

Hangon I am planning on getting a PS2, and a GC around the same time? Ahh well there are plenty other good PS2 games!

Nintendos seal of Quality was a big thing in the days of the NES, it seems to be a thing of the past now though.

As for CodeMasters who cant remember their games MicroMachines, Dizzy, Collin Mac Rae Rally...a classy company.

I never thought I would see the day that PS2 and Gamecube merged.
