The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
E3 is here, so its time to chat about the things you liked, and the things you really liked! Yesterday we saw a few surprises from the Nintendo Press conference.
If you want to re-live the live E3 thread running commentary then I suggest you http://beta.hometown.aol.co.uk/discodexy/myhomepage/nintendo.html .
I had to host yesterdays running commentary somewhere else, because I want to make room for today’s running commentary.
Enjoy E3, and Enjoy this thread, you can expect to see clickable’s as soon as we get them!
Remember if you post links when I'm updating, I’ll mention your name :)
Thanks for sticking with the E3 thread.

Never played Animal Crossing. I was all mixed up and had Harvest Moon on my mind at that point for some reason.
Comments retracted.

No, I'm just unsure because it could go either way - there are three great Mario Karts and one decent one, with the 'decent' one being the most recent, which is why I don't have particular confidence in this. However, I love Mario Kart so I should hope it is good, I'm just not going to put blind faith in Nintendo like some people do.

I felt 'BLEH' suitably summed up my attitude to Metroid games. Metroid Prime is one of the most dull, uninspiring games I've ever played. Pretty though. Just because it's smooth doesn't mean it's amazing - graphics aren't everything, hove.

Ahaha. Looking at a few pictures of games doesn't mean you know anything more about how they play than I do, moron.

Fine. Then it will be good, ie. more of the same.

You should probably see a psychiatrist then, because those kinds of feelings towards previews of videogames are quite, quite unhealthy.

Incarnations? There's only been one. Have you played it? More than five hours? Probably not, so shut the hell up.

Can't think of a good put down for this? It'll be bloody amazing, you know it.

Again, you can't think of a good put down. Have you seen the gameplay video? It's beautifully smooth, it'll be a winner, it's amazing.

No problems there then.

Messaging thing, glad to see you're informed on what you're slagging off for no good reason.

Good.

And it probably still is the idea. Some new minigames, a Wi-fi mode, doesn't take much to realise this has MAJOR potential.
