UPDATED 1:00 12TH OF MAY

E3 is here, so its time to chat about the things you liked, and the things you really liked! Yesterday we saw a few surprises from the Nintendo Press conference.

If you want to re-live the live E3 thread running commentary then I suggest you http://beta.hometown.aol.co.uk/discodexy/myhomepage/nintendo.html .

I had to host yesterdays running commentary somewhere else, because I want to make room for today’s running commentary.

Enjoy E3, and Enjoy this thread, you can expect to see clickable’s as soon as we get them!

Remember if you post links when I'm updating, I’ll mention your name :)
Thanks for sticking with the E3 thread.

Although Microsoft profit from every Rare game sold.

So effectively Nintendo is earning them money.

Microsoft don't actually make GBA games as I'm sure you realise. THQ are a current company that already produces GBA software and so Microsoft exploit them.

Microsoft have nothing to lose from this, Rare support their GBA team independantly, RARE's fan base continues on Nintendo's platform sparking desire to buy the X-box too and they also make easy money with minimal effort.

Sadly Rare are of course suffering badly on the X-box, Grabbed by the Gholies and enjoyable at most title did very badly.

Unless RARE can turn things around it is likely Microsoft may have to take control of their output. In other words reducing the Banjo's and other stunning platform/RPG titles.

So even buying an X-box for RARE titles will mean you won't get the legendary 64 developer.

Nintendo probably don't let them publish it themselves as it would have Microsoft and Nintendo on the same game box.

I would have thought Microsoft would have published games like Banjo then, instead of THQ, no? :-\

That is possible. They have made three GBA games. The Banjo Kazooie game, Sabrewulf and the port of Donkey Kong country. They are also going to release Banjo pilot, DKC2 and a game called Mr Pants in the future. I think that they will continue to make games for Nintendos portable machines, unless Microsoft decides to expand their market.

Microsoft Games Studio's are a license developer for the Nintendo Gameboy.

Rare and Bungie are two developers that have paid attention to the publisher.
