I guess all will be revealed soon – and it’s safe to say that it looks like Nintendo are going to have a good year.

During the E3 period, if you acquire any Nintendo news, post and discuss it here!

Edit; Thought I’d add that I’m a bit disappointed in the 1st DS game;

'New' Fifa games are the ones that don't deserve to be called sequels. Mario Party is also similar, aside from a few small changes the game remains near-identical in each one.

Difference we dissed the PS2 for releasing the same game and claiming it to be a sequel.

The only Nintendo game that does that at the moment is Mario Party 6, and like Final Fantasy each one is done differently anyway.

To be honest - I've never been too keen on direct sequels. Instead of quickly patching together the first Wind Waker after getting the basic game engine done, why not use some of the Wind waker 2 dev time to focus on making the first an epic? More money, and the demand for the game obviously, but it would have been nice if Nintendo focuses more on the whole game rather than solely the game engine, then build around it.

That's not to say I'm not looking forward to the new Zelda, Metroid and Mario.

Like I said, CUBE Wars, Golden Sun... they should be the stars of the show. Oh, and if there's anything about Killer Instinct, I'll cream my pants and burn my my Cube. ;-)

The thing is, as I have always stated, there is nothing wrong with sequels - unless the game is crap.

I'm really hoping some brand-new titles like Golden Sun, CUBE Wars and the game unveiled by the Mario 64 producer (I think) will completely blow us away. I need some surprising.

How does Custom Robo, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords+, Pikmin 2, Donkey Konga, Paper Mario 2, Geist, Metroid Prime 2, Star Fox 2, Mario Tennis & Mario Party 6 sound. Not a bad lineup for Gamecube.

Plus Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Hamtaro 4, F-Zero 2, Mario Pinball, Donkey Kong Country 2, Mario Tennis, New Kirby title, Mario Party, Pokemon Fire Red, Pokemon Leaf Green, Mario Golf: Advance Tour on the GBA.

And the best of the third party stuff includes Killer 7, Resi 4, Viewtiful Joe 2, Virtua Fighter, Goldeneye 2, TimeSplitters:FP, Tales of Symphonia & Baten Kaitos.

And that's just the non-secret titles, like the rumoured Golden Sun GC game and Cube Wars. Personally I'm hoping for news on Skies 2 as well. And then you have the DS's unveiling, the first software for it, and Nintendo's new peripheral.

Blimey.

Indeed, this year must be better than last - hopefully there are actually some really really good looking un announced projects to be shown - Geist was the only real surprise last year, as far as I can remember. And that will be shown at E3 too...good.

Hope the francise sequals are looking revolutionary, and new titles are looking sublime. Of course.
