I noticed that a lot of people have been talking about this game recently and I thought that it would be good to have your opinions of it. Lalakersrule says that he has clocked up 800 hours on it so either it is very very addictive or Lalakersrule is extremely sad. ;-) Anyway, I was looking through the latest issue of Official Playstation Two Magazine and I saw a preview of it and to my horror it only had a quarter of a page when GTA: San Andreas had six pages on it! So I looked down and saw why. 2D graphics!!! I know that it has sold millions in Japan and other countries but I never thought that it would have Two-dimesional graphics. I am not saying that graphics are the most important part of a game but I expected a game that had sold so well to have at least half-decent graphics for god's sake. But I still think that after so many good reviews there is quite a large chance of me buying it when it comes out over here.

So what do you guys think of it? I don't want people saying stuff like 'oh yeah, it sounds good'. I want people who have imported it to give me a first-hand review and help me out.

Thanks in advance,

Wakka.

I only need 4 more boxsets anyway, including series 10 whenever it gets released. So I'll have ALL the episodes soon anyway.

:)

I heard that, wait for it, there will be a 32-disc mega boxset featuring every episode ever coming in Winter for £150.

I was planning to buy this today, but I found out that WHS are getting FRIENDS boxsets in soon, and they'll be in a half price sale. So I'm just going to keep my money for those just now.

Leveling up your own character and those characters that you create is where the real strategy begins . The success of DISGAEA is based on the freedom of choice and the unique concept. Combined strength of the party members add to the damage count, crystals project patterns on the map grid influencing friend and foe's abilities alike. Player characters can toss crystals, enemies and allies around to create astonishing and sometimes hilarious effects. The party can venture INTO items and gain control of specialists who increase the item's attributes. The player will also have to strengthen Laharl's position in the measly Dark Assembly – a council built up of a dozen senators – to grant their permission for various upgrades to skill sets and weaponry. Some senators can be bribed but others will have to be fought, loose this fight and you will loose some of the benefits that you have built up over time.

Got it Today.
It's absolute class.
Bribing senators is a good touch.
Took me a while to write this.

Can't say i care that much, most magazines nowadays are written by retarded monkeys who as long as a game looks pretty think it's the best thing since sliced bread. ;-D I actually stopped reading games magazines after Play spent a whole review about Arc the Lad talking about stereotypes of RPG's and said absolutely nothing about the game itself

However it

Yea it's a great game and kept me playing for AGES you shouldn't be dissapointed when you buy it. However i've now moved onto the game that came before Disgaea, La Pucelle Tactics and hoping to rinse through that even though apparently it only goes up to level 9999.

Lakers, I read a few reviews about Disgaea. You'd best not read PSM2 as they say FFX is better, I know you won't like that. However it did get a very good score of 86% and there was some video footage as well. It looked good to me and I'm pretty sure I'll be getting it at some point.
