Blokes need time with blokes and video games.
But our better halves don't understand this and think it's a slight on them.
It's not.
I spend most weeekends at my girlfriend's place until sunday/monday morning.
But times are that I fancy being at mine with mates and computer entertainment.
How do you say this though, without them getting moody and punishing you for a week with the most effective method?
This weekend, for example, I've arranged to go there from work tonight and I'll be there till Sunday.
Now, GT3 is out, Train Simulator is out, my mates are playing Operation Flashpoint online, I'm getting quite far into Black and White.
I'm not suggesting for one moment that games are a substitute for a soft, nice smelling companion - just there are times when, although you've made plans for the weekend, you suddenly think "Damn, I want to play computer games".
Being 28, some might say "Too immature", I'm not.
Well...I am, but that's not the point.
So, weekend doing adult things with my girlfriend, or weekend being a kid - but not doing adult things with my gf.
Damn.
I want both
