Well, just to let you know that they weren't the first to release a train game. Sensible, the people behind Sensible World Of Soccer and a number of quality games for the Amiga back in the early 90's also released a game called....

Sensible Train Spotter!
Yep! Thats right, Sensible Trainspotter, where you had to spot trains, in 2-D, going past a platform where you held your 'Virtual Clipboard'. You had to cross the trains off the list as they went past the platform. Riveting Stuff!
So really, you should thank Microsoft, at least you can now drive the trains forwards and, err, forwards slightly slower. So well done to MS!
