There’s quite a large age range of forums members in FOG...
Although, it never seems to cause a problem with posts...
Because we don’t actually see each other, we have to take the posts on face value...

Usually when talking directly, face-to-face, with people, I will automatically make a judgment call, especially if they are noticeably older or younger than myself...
How they dress, their attitude, their mannerisms, how they speak, etc all effect how I would react to their questions...
I may not take them as seriously as I should, maybe expect more from them than should reasonably be expected, or expect nothing at all, no matter what they say...

However, posting through a forum allows the ideas to be expressed, along with the persons understanding and personality.
No judgement, can be made on who they are, or where they come from.
Only at what they say, and how they say it. The questions posed by the post, understanding the knowledge of the poster, by the content of the post.
