I was thinking... (No, honestly, I was!)
There’s quite a large age range of forums members in FOG...
Although, it never seems to cause a problem with posts...
Because we don’t actually see each other, we have to take the posts on face value...

Usually when talking directly, face-to-face, with people, I will automatically make a judgment call, especially if they are noticeably older or younger than myself...
How they dress, their attitude, their mannerisms, how they speak, etc all effect how I would react to their questions...
I may not take them as seriously as I should, maybe expect more from them than should reasonably be expected, or expect nothing at all, no matter what they say...

However, posting through a forum allows the ideas to be expressed, along with the persons understanding and personality.
No judgement, can be made on who they are, or where they come from.
Only at what they say, and how they say it. The questions posed by the post, understanding the knowledge of the poster, by the content of the post.

you said you can't really tell what people are like from what they post but this one should help you to see what i'm like.
I'm a complete loser that is stuck on a downward spiral going down to the part of life known as nowhere. I'll always talk crap and never grow up, although some of my post might suggest that i'm actually quite mature. Oh yes and i have a very high opinion of myself as you can probably tell from the above text.
Even though most of the time I act like a complete git i try to enjoy my life. I like going out with my mates although sometimes we argue but i guess that is just part of being mates, or maybe not.
Anyway all of the above was just me talking rubbish again. Now just totally changing the subject, I belive that if your happy in yourself then that is all that matters. If coming on here makes you happy then come on here, if walking round naked in the rain makes you happy then do that.

Yep, using words only to make an impression is a good thing.
