As you could always save more than 1 file, I guess this saved N64 gamers a lot of money that would have been spent on memory cards if it was a disc based console...
And she tells me that she doesn't talk to me.
Does he talk to you by any chance????
(mine does)
you can copy from one to other so if your mate has a file you want just pop your card in press copy and hey presto. can't do that with 64's.
not only have i had a memory card naff up on me but it was the 8mb with all my PSone games on which is like 45+ of saves and it took Sony a while to send me a new one (keep the receipt people) but i shouldn't say this really but 2 days after i got the new one, Sony sent me another muhahaha
I'm sure Sony can spare £25 for my troubles :)
No will will ever fill 16mb of PS2 saves or will they??

Commodore went bust shortly after its launch, selling the Amiga name to German PC company Escom, who launched Amiga Technologies Gmbh. They used the Commodore name on their PC clones.
They then went bust too, and the Commodore and Amiga names were split - Commodore went to Dutch part of Escom, which was still profitable - the Amiga name went to fellow Dutch company Tulip.
Several more changes came along, with Gateway owning the name at one point. Amiga do still live on, but as a software company. They're currently developing AmigaDE (Desktop Environment) OS for multi-platform use - basically, the Amiga OS for any PC.
They're also continuing to produce updates to the OS for all the original Amiga's still in use around the world, and set-top boxes, broadband internet and more. It's not dead yet!
Several new machines have been mentioned, but nothing new has arrived as yet.
Check out http://www.amiga.com and http://www.workbench.f9.co.uk/ for full historical details.

No seriously, two memory cards, straight out of the box didn't work.
As he's young, and can't drive yet, he couldn't go straight back and replace it. It was a whole week before he could play FFVIII, and save his game!
I'm not criticising memory cards, they're better than having to type in lengthy passwords, but it's annoying when they don't work or lose data.
The save onto cart feature will be one that I miss greatly in the next generation.
My cat pee'd on my PSX and it's STILL working. Although it now gets smelly when it heats up.
I have yet to have a memory card fail on me, except for the one that I inserted into my cat after she pee'd on my PSX, but I'll try it out once I get it back and let you know.
I still have mine!
Thing is, wasn't it released a couple of years before the PSX?
I can't really remember why it didn't take off, lack of support I think, although the price could have played a part...
