"Devil May Cry 3, Finally"

Devil May Cry 3 was finally announced. It's going to be ps2 exclusive. Tsuyoshi Tanaka is going to design it, he is the same designer who designed Devil May Cry 2. It's going to take place before DMC2. It's going to be Mission-styled. It's going to be officially announced by capcom in E3 2004, and it's going to be released in late 2004, or the beginning of 2005. These are the screenshots:

I didn't say that DMC2 could have existed without DMC1, I was only assuming it from the theoritical point of view, for instance, someone coul've played 2 without playing 1, then he would really love 2.

No but it is slow progession, without those Blinx wouldn't exist and without the first Devil May Cry the second wouldn't exist as you kindly pointed out...

It's like saying if the Snes didn't exist then the Cube wouldn't, it's a stupid comment.

you didn't notice the fact that sonic, Mario, Jak and Daxter and Wario aren't from the same series. I was talking about sequals.

Thankyou for pointing out the obvious.

Now if only Mario, Sonic, Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and Wario hadn't existed Blinx would've been a great game...

The fact is it did exist and as such the second urinated on a licence that should've gotten stronger, the foundations were there and shouldn't have been messed with but the new team working on it did. Not too much of a problem though as he went onto the Cube to work on the excellent P.N.03 which is one of the most under rated games of this generation.

Yeah I agree. That is what happened to the Metal Gear Solid series. MGS 1 was brilliant then Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Luberty came out and because of such high expectations, people were disappointed.
