This could be the proper sequel to DMC1 - rather than the same-stuff-different-place DMC2 seemed like.

You didn't understand a thing of what I told you. I said that IF someone played the second and did NOT play the first, DMC2 was poor only because the prequal was better, theoritically DMC2 is a good game, but actually we liked the 1st one so we didn't like the second. Suppose that DMC2 was released in 2001 instead of DMC1, we would've liked it.
