This thread has been linked to the game 'Devil May Cry 3'.
Devil May Cry 3 was finally announced. It's going to be ps2 exclusive. Tsuyoshi Tanaka is going to design it, he is the same designer who designed Devil May Cry 2. It's going to take place before DMC2. It's going to be Mission-styled. It's going to be officially announced by capcom in E3 2004, and it's going to be released in late 2004, or the beginning of 2005. These are the screenshots:

Noooo! If they had half a brain cell then they would get the person who made the first Devil May Cry to make the third. Devil May Cry 1 was so much better t5han Devil May Cry 2. But still, I'm looking forward to it.
Hopefully it'll improve on the average Devil May Cry 2.

It's not their fault, Shinji Mikami, the guy who designed DMC1 decided not to design any more games for ps2 after DMC1, he said that it's difficult to design for ps2, and that the GC is better, he designed viewtiful Joe for GC, and he's currently working on RE 4 also for GC.

Not sure if it is good news or not, the first was awesome but the second was a complete shadow in comparison.

If DMC1 didn't exist, then DMC2 would've been great.

Yeah I agree. That is what happened to the Metal Gear Solid series. MGS 1 was brilliant then Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Luberty came out and because of such high expectations, people were disappointed.

Yeah I agree. That is what happened to the Metal Gear Solid series. MGS 1 was brilliant then Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Luberty came out and because of such high expectations, people were disappointed.
