Graphics look nice, though.

It's not their fault, Shinji Mikami, the guy who designed DMC1 decided not to design any more games for ps2 after DMC1, he said that it's difficult to design for ps2, and that the GC is better, he designed viewtiful Joe for GC, and he's currently working on RE 4 also for GC.

The graphics to be honest don't look that much different from the firat from those shots.

If DMC1 didn't exist, then DMC2 would've been great.

Yeah I agree. That is what happened to the Metal Gear Solid series. MGS 1 was brilliant then Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Luberty came out and because of such high expectations, people were disappointed.
