I wasn't a newbie due to vast history here. Then shock!Horror I got demoted to newbie status when I changed my service provider for 3 horrifying days I was a newbie and as a result I sympathise with Newbies. I also became over 200 days younger.

Anyway, as for everyone saying that we all started as newbies, I suppose you're right, although I was only a newbie for a couple of days before swiftly moving on to better things.

I am appalled at the blatant overtones in this thread! Shocked even, that notables and regulars can be so openly newbie-ist. EVERYONE was a newbie once, even the Notables! How you lot have the NERVE to turn around and suddenly pounce on the newbies that are the future of our beloved forums is beyond me.

I expected a lot better, I really did. The newbies have done NOTHING WRONG, they are here now as we were then. They provide a VALUABLE and LASTING CONTRIBUTION both to the FOG Chat and to your OWN posts in the FOG Prime.
They breathe new life into these forums, they bring fresh ideas, and they are every much as entitled if not MORE so to express their opinions as any other poster here.
To DISCRIMINATE against newbies in this manner is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE and must end now!
The only viable solution is to shoot the newbies, then we wouldn't have to discriminate against them.

I apologise to anyone I annoy, but at the moment I'm trying to learn Javascript while managing two websites for customers, trying to start a company building computers and doing bloody mail merges. When I get in here it's time to let off steam and have a laugh. Anyway, not all newbies are bad, just me and my mate stick. lol
