Holy crap! I'm so getting me one of these. Doesn't look to dissimilar to the prototype revealed last year, except that it's black, has a proper D-pad and some volume facia buttons. In short, it looks awesome.

The pics I've got from a press site show it with Gran Turismo 4 - not the PS2 version, the PSP version. How the hell did they keep that under wraps?

Sony execs, listen up - as long as you don't charge over £250 for this thing, you're going to make more money than Jesus by selling this sweet baby. Just get it out before summer next year and you'll be laughing. Laughing I tells ya! Compare it to the (let's face it) really dull mock-up of the Nintendo DS (found on Eurogamer.net) and it jizzes right it in its coffee.

I said stereotypically. I'm not such an idiot (and certainly not a fanboy) enough to say all PS2 owners are reatrds.

By the way, pretty sure DS can handle more than N64 standard ;)

Actually, I don't care, because the N64 is infinitly superior to the PS2.

I wouldn't say the DS is disappointing - Mario 64 portable is fine by me, and if wi-fi works (if only) then that'd make the package a stunning one. From a purely innovative point of view, it looks to add far more to the gaming world than the PSP...which looks pretty damn impressive on its own.

I agree, there is no real E3 discussion here, which seems kinda (stereotypically) indicative of the majority of PS2 owners, or there's no real news yet. Not sure, not really bothered.

Because I'm interested in Nintendo games, I just happen to think the DS is hugely disappointing. Also I didn't realise anybody in here was discussing E3, it's usually very dead.

I expect tomorrow will be PS2 day. Roll on Ace Combat 5! And confirmation of wireless Gran Turismo on the PSP :P
