IGN, unlike Gamespot, still off non-subscribers a great deal.

I'm sorry, but if you've got a site as big as IGN, who employ a good few workers (I'd guess at least 30....), then adverts won't be enough to keep it up and running, and wouldn't you love the oppurtunity of some extra income?

Funny, during E3 I remember watching as much as I wanted.

Well i liked it when a quite a few years ago they had a year's free subscription almost unlimited access, but now they don't that at all which is really annoying. Also they only let you see a certain amount of stuff per day which is very tight.

Indeed, had you bothered to read the article its not restricted access as a result of IGN, but as a result of Nintendo. Only three copies of this exist of this extended footage, and Nintendo don't want to officially release them, hence showing them just to IGN.com.

And if i'm being honest, I think IGN offer a fairly decent service to non-payers, they let us see all other E3 footage aside the Nintendo Conference which can be downloaded elsewhere anyway.

Calm down, they're just exercising capitalism in all it's glory. They didn't claim that you could download the trailer, that's why they described it cut by cut.

Well IGN can go f**k themselves and stop boasting about it, ever since they've made everything restricted and only for paying customers they've been absolute d**ks.

You can't watch it - IGN are supposed to be the only people who have, and are actually allowed to see it.

I tried to look at the extended trailer but i'm not sure which one it was menat to be, as i tried the windwsmedia player one and that was just the normal 1 minutes trailer.
