Are you a Sony supporter or a Nintendo nut?
What consoles were you brought up on + what have you owned?
My history:
1. Spectrum - pretty rubbish but had a couple of classics
2. NES - Duck Hunt, Mario, Mega Man- say no more.
3. SNES - THE best console of its generation - Mario, Zelda, Secret of Mana etc.. etc..
Then, with the poorness of the N64 (HATED those controllers- only good for Goldeneye), i switched allegiances...
4. Playstation
5. PS2 - The best console ever. (X-Box? Gamecube? Not a chance)
2) Sega Megadrive (original model, with headphone socket)
Also excellent.
3) Nintendo Gameboy, just after launch.
Excellent machine. Anyone remember Gargoyle's Quest?
4) Nintendo 64 (bought on that certain March 1st. Didn't get a game until 3 weeks later. D'oh)
Never got many games with this, but they were all quite good.
5) Sony Playstation (PSX)
Bought 2nd hand, owned for 3 weeks, started skipping. Sold it.
6) Nintendo SNES
A leap back in technology to play some of those games I missed first time round (like Zelda).
I still own them all, except for the PSX.
2. Mega Drive-great console, but didn't make as much of an impact on me as the:
3. PlayStation- in my opinion, the best console ever. With a load of superb games, Sony really did well with this one.
4. PlayStation 2- Well, it's bought me 2 of my fav games ever- ZOE and Red Faction. And with the sequel to my favourite game ever (MGS) soon to come, as well as many, many more top games, I think the future of the PS2 is superb.

Own:
PC - Was brilliant 4 years ago, but the 166 is now too slow to compete with current consoles. Never mind, it still lets me play great games such as Worms and Starfleet Academy, and not so great games like Tomb Raider. It's also my only access to this site!
ZX Spectrum 128k +2 - Great for classics like Renegade and Ikari Warriors.
Game Boy Color - Excellent handheld. Brilliant catalogue of games with over 400 compatable!
Game Boy Advance - Even better handheld! I've not seen anything yet that can beat it's superiority in the games world. Take a look at the size of those cartridges, play Tony Hawks 2 and then try telling me the GBA is rubbish!
Brothers got:
ZX Spectrum 48k - I gave it to my bro. when I got the +2. Great games like Finders Keepers and Mr Freeze. The keyboard was a bit hard to use though.
Game Boy - Great in it's day! I still play some of my brothers original Game Boy Games on my Color and Advance! However to me the graphics are hard to see and a bit blurry when scrolling. All this was corrected when the Pocket was released.
Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Probably the best console ever! True quality hardware and brilliant games! And there's the ability to play Game Boy games on it, some in full colour!
Game Boy Color - He got it to play Pokémon Red and Gold and he still uses it for my Game Boy Camera.
N64 - Another true quality console. The controller was a little hard to get used to but after playing Mario 64 and Goldeneye, the controller seems to be the most comfortable one so far! The graphics are amazing, gameplay 100% better than graphics, and lastability....well we'll see how long it lasts after the GameCubes release.
Consoles Played:
Sega Saturn - I played it once in Curries. It had the game Bugs in it and I liked it!
Game Boy Pocket - Cross between Color and Original. My cousins got it so that's how I've played it. Plays like the color...but in monochrome :)
NES - I wish I had one! I used to love my friends console with all those brilliant 8-bit games he had! Pity I moved to another city....
Playstation - Games were a bit basic when it came to AI, the graphics seemed poor on the games I played recently (Worms and TWINE most recent) and the controller was too small for my hands! I was suprised that the Playstation couldn't handle Worms like the PC can...
Playstation 2 - In a word...Yuk! Ugly console, terrible loading times, hopefully we'll see much better of it in the future!
Commodore (not sure which one) - From what I can remember, it had it's own screen and played games like Frogger in black and white only. It's been around ten years since I last played it.
Dreamcast - Played Sonic Adventure 2 in Game. In a word....Brilliant!
If I've played more then I can't remember them right now. I'll let you know when or if I do!
2) SNES
3) Gameboy
4) Playstation
5) N64
6) Game Boy Advance
2) Gameboy - Tetris, Mario and a few more good games. Never eally got into it though. Only ever played it on long train journeys up to Scotland as I felt to sick to play it in cars. I have about 9 games. Spiderman was bloody hard. I never could kill that Lizard man boss on the second level. I think I need an antidote or something. If anyone could help me out here, I'd be really grateful.
3) Mega Drive - There were some classics on this. Strrets of Rage, Street Fighter, Micro Machines 96 Turbo Tournament (all other micro machines games pale in comparison). Had about 13 games for that but I've lost a few of them now. I lost Street Fighter....NNNOOOOOO!!!!!!!
4) N64 - The best console ever made. Perfect Dark, Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, Goldeneye, Rogue Squadron, Turok, F-Zero X. All classics and all brilliant games. The N64 also has by far the best multiplayer around. Had 31 games for this but sold a few when I got my DreamCast. Now I have 23.
5) Dreamcast. My current console......but not for long. I'm gonna plug my N64 back in. The only problem is that I sold my expansion pak and Perfect Dark thinking that the DC would be amazing. How wrong I was. I can't work out why I don't like it that much though. It has some real quality games like Shenmue, MSR, Ecco, Virtua Tennis, Crazy Taxi 2, F355 and Soul Calibur.
6) GameCube - oops! Sorry, I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here.
1)spectrum - Sorry too young to remember anything about it
2)Nes - Loved the classics like Duck Hunt, Mario Bros 1, 2, 3 and erhum Teenage mutant ninja turtles 2
3)Snes - Again loved the classics like super mario world and games like WWF royal rumble, WWF Raw is War, Yoshi's island, the ISS series and Sunset Riders.
4)N64 - Not as succesful as its nintendo predecessors but still had some quality titles, my favs were Zelda: Ocerina of time, Zelda: Majoras Mask, Mario 64, Mario Tennis, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Super Smash Brothers
5)Gameboy Colour - Zelda: Links awakening, Oleary Manager 2001.
6)Playstation - WWF Smackdown 2, ISS pro evolution, Tony hawks skateboarding. To be honest with getting a playstation so late i missed out on a lot of its quality games.
That's it my gaming history in 6 steps
