Are you a Sony supporter or a Nintendo nut?
What consoles were you brought up on + what have you owned?
My history:
1. Spectrum - pretty rubbish but had a couple of classics
2. NES - Duck Hunt, Mario, Mega Man- say no more.
3. SNES - THE best console of its generation - Mario, Zelda, Secret of Mana etc.. etc..
Then, with the poorness of the N64 (HATED those controllers- only good for Goldeneye), i switched allegiances...
4. Playstation
5. PS2 - The best console ever. (X-Box? Gamecube? Not a chance)
..thats about all you need to know.
Pc-dad got a pc but not very good for modern games. Last game that worked on it was tiberium sun.
Playtation- My dad won it in a local paper. Had lots of games for it and enjoyed it at the time. After seeing the light i traded it in to get...
Dreamcast-THE best console i have ever played. Sadly it wasnt givin a far go by everyone because of the hype surrounded by the ps2. Got 20 games for it and counting...
Dont know what to get next. Mabye a GBA but its mostly between xbox and GC.
Im thinking Xbox, the games look sweet (halo, medal of honnor, Munches oddsy and DOA3)and the GC whatever way you look at it seem to be becoming the kiddy console again. Thats the way i see it so dont nag me about it.
Ah well.
1) Started out on the old "Atari 520 ST."
1.1) Advaned to a 1040 STE, but hey...
2) Jumped staight out of the ST/ Amiga wars into the SNES/ Megadrive wars.
I was on the side of the SNES!!!! (and I still am)
3) Believing the hype and still thouroughly impressed with my SNES, the next logical step appeared to be the N64 (boy was that a mistake)
4) Hurt by Nintendo, I ditched them for a more succesful company... and believing the hype once again opted for a PS2!!!
Whatever anyone else say, at this point I am happier with my PS2 purchase than I was this long after owning an N64.
can't remember much about this, other than a game where you were a naughty schoolboy, one where you were an egg, and a skiing one.
2. NES
god i loved duck hunt. and the Mario Bros.
3. SNES
god, even better this is THE console of all times. i loved the snes games, starwing and i had a super scope. great fun, but not enough scope games!
4. PC
ahhh, my beloved PC. I love this creme box. it's magnificent. no console can match it's power. it's running a bit slow now, and yes, it does cost me a flippin fortune, but it's all worth it for games like AOE, Counter Strike, HL and the ability to easily play people from the other side of the world.
5. PSX
hmmm, bought it, played it for 1/2 hour, left it. I got bored of this very quickly. it's now come in very useful. the leg on my desk broke and the PSX is just the right size to prop it up. perfect.
Nintendoid eh? Big time!
Yup, through and through :-D
2)N64. Lots of good single player games, but the multiplayer is this consoles reason for being.
3)Dreamcast, hopefully. I've been meaning to get one for ages.
4) Gamecube.
2) NES
3) SNES
4) Gameboy/colour
5)N64
And I will be having a GameCube
2)PS2. I have no games for it yet, but I completed ZOE and starfighter - love it already!
HOPES FOR THE FUTURE!
1) GBA
2)GC
