It's a Crystal XBOX BOX! Somebody has gone and paid #115 for the actual box.

Either they didn't know what they were buying, or are incredibly stupid....

If I were him I would pull the same stunt to get the money back, obviously there are people stupid enough to fall for it. Not that I in anyway endorse fraudulant use of Ebay of course.

But it does state that it was just a box that was for sale and it's up to him how much he charges for it, so if someone is stupid enough to pay £115 for it then that's hardly the sellers fault is it?

You can't actually change the description after people bid, you can only add to it.

Actually if you look at the bidding history, you'll see that there was one retraction because the description changed. The original description likely said that it was for the Xbox, not the box. Hence people bid, then get ripped off when the description changes.

Possibly. Else there are far too many stupid people.
