At last!! Even though you didn't use the original clue...

Ironic light spins years of yarn

Ironic light = Dark :D

The years was in reference to the 100 years you travel between using the Atimilla stones (Max and Monica both have one)

And spinning yarn is a metaphor for story telling (a vague reference to Chronicle).

Shame you had to use the characters name and camera, but at last it's solved!
