The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
THE WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY
In the topic called "Goat Boy's Profile" you'll find the profiles which have been written so far for the Upwire e-mails, posted of course by Grix.
Don't look for number 8 - Ali says it would put a voodoo curse on the subject and infect the readers with eebie-jeebies.
Most of the profiles have been written by Ali, but not all.
Now it's your chance.
Write about someone who has not yet been featured, so DON'T write about these people:
1 Grix (Thraves or Brain)
2 Meka_Dragon
3 Ant
4 Sniper
5 Fantasy Meister
6 Big Sally
7 SHEEPY
9 er-no
10 Dan2K1
11 pb
12 RastaBillySkank
13 Goatboy
Competition ends during the first few days of August.
The best entry will be humerous and reasonably accurate without causing offence.
Try to keep between about 80 and 100 words.
There will only be one winner but we reserve the right to use more than one entry in our e-mail and the magazine.
Good luck. Ali will judge this one so try to spell corectley.
Geniuinly quick witted and never seen to lose a fight to the Ninties, but able to concede that there are, with everything in life, limitations to his pride and joy. The VRAM debate was an interesting example of the short sightedness of many Ninties as the PS2 turned out in the end to have more than the Gamecube. Oh that is a glorious day when the Ninties tried to rub each other's brain cell together to try to make a spark, but to no avail. Still to be defeated outright in a battle, the Sony Follower is a true example of how to do things properly.
The Ninty is a common creature that frequents many forums apart from the Sony one. It likes to argue about anything that the PS2 can do, and won't accept that maybe it can do some things better. The Ninty will forever proclaim that the GameCube is superior to the PlayStation 2 in every way. If there's one thing certain in the future, it's that Nintys and Sonys will argue.
We at Special Reserve were a wee bit shocked when Bonus came onto the scene a few months ago. Sporting his homemade kilt and tartan bagpipes he came out of the Highlands like a real brave-heart with all bums blazing. Well, he had to really, because being a Playstation 2 fan he was bound to be up against some solid Nintendo competition, which came in the form of The Game. But despite losing a very high majority of console debates and slanging matches to 'Game' Bonus kept going, and to-date he has definitely won all our respect with his vast technical knowledge and kind, humorous nature. A superb lad and definitely one of our favourites!

A respected member of the PS2 forum, adrian possesses a vast knowledge of computer gaming, particularly when it involves Sony`s latest console. Any visitor to the forum who asks a question will most likely get a useful response from adrian, who is always willing to share his knowledge. However, he not only has a great deal of gaming facts stored away, but also all the tools to express them in a well presented fashion. This combination led to a fine review of Zone of the Enders, which deservedly gave adrian his first gameaday. Expect to see his name on the winners list many times in the future!
Sex: Unknown. I often look at him as a friendly creature though, BFC (Big Friendly Creature) because he is very useful when it comes down to anything to do with today’s technology. Anything from DVD Movies to Digital Cameras. He is a very popular Wookiee though and I am sure a site called “Ask Wookiee Monster” will do well because of his great knowledge. He is also very modest, and although he is not posting on these forums 24/7, you can bet your penny’s he will be reading all posts. Make the most of this Wookiee though as he has a Star Trek Passport, and he’s not afraid to use it!
