Of course I'll look into it, but if the gameplay proves to be anything less than excellent then I'll give it a miss. At present, it looks rather repetitive and dated. I'd also be lying if I said I wouldn't be more interested if it had some flashy visuals.

I totally agree with Lou Role, word for word.

I'm actually looking forward to Disgaea and I'll pick it up on the day of release. I'm willing to look beyond the graphics as it looks like it'll be a very involving, addictive game. It'll play in a similar way to Advance Wars I reckon, and that is one very addictive game.

I might get Disgaea...

However, the graphics are slightly off putting, and that's not to mention the worrying amount of time you have to invest.

The video I saw of Red Dead seemed a bit dodgy - the movement all jerky, like many third-person shooter / adventurers you get.

Nah. Red Dead Revolver doesn't sound very good. Not bad by any means, but not worth it.

Rockstar are odd. They make GTA, which is hailed as a masterpiece, but all their other games (and GTA) are decidedly rough in places and not especially interesting. To me anyway. Or rather, they don't stand up (except GTA) to their respective genre-mates very well.

Actually I may get Read Dead Revolver as well, it seems to be getting good enough reviews.

If i had a PS2, Smash Court Tennis 2.
